# Handling Questions & Challenge

> Answer executive questions with evidence, explicit assumptions and clear limits.

Use four response types:

| Type       | Example                                                                               |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Evidence   | “The interviews and workflow both point to this handoff as the main source of delay.” |
| Assumption | “The base case assumes 60% adoption; we also modelled lower and higher cases.”        |
| Limit      | “Implementation effort needs technical design before we can confirm it.”              |
| Unknown    | “We do not have enough evidence yet; we need validation from the process owner.”      |

Expect questions about why the problem persists, whether AI is necessary, implementation risk, ROI confidence, ownership and what should happen first.

Answer the question first. If new evidence weakens a recommendation, change the recommendation.
