# Messaging & Value Proposition

> Explain your offer in business language that connects the client's problem, outcome and your evidence-led method.

Your message should make the buyer think **“this is relevant to my problem”**, not **“this person knows a lot about AI.”**

## Core formula

> We help **\[ICP]** achieve **\[outcome]** by **\[method]**, without **\[common pain]**.

Example:

> We help growing professional-services firms identify where AI and automation can remove operational friction by understanding how work actually happens, rather than starting with a generic list of tools.

## Translate technical language into business language

| Technical language | Buyer language |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| LLM workflow | Reduce manual drafting and review time |
| Agentic automation | Complete defined multi-step work with human approval where needed |
| RAG | Give staff faster answers from approved internal knowledge |
| API integration | Remove re-keying and handoffs between systems |
| Workflow automation | Reduce repetitive routing, copying and manual checks |

## A credible Iris talk track

> We use a structured diagnostic methodology combining stakeholder interviews, consent-based screen observation where useful and workflow analysis to identify where change can create the greatest commercial value. Iris helps us build the evidence base; we then validate the findings with your team and recommend what should happen next.

## Avoid these messages

* “We revolutionise businesses with AI.”
* “We can automate anything.”
* “Our platform will tell you exactly what to build.”
* “AI will save 80% of your costs.”

## Build three versions

Create a one-line positioning statement, a 30-second explanation and a two-minute explanation that adds your method, proof and example outcomes.
