# AI Risk & Governance

> Match controls to the consequence of failure.

Assess data/privacy, model limitations, security, agent permissions, human oversight and client ownership before implementation.

Higher-consequence decisions require stronger evidence, narrower permissions, clearer review and better auditability. Governance should be proportionate to the use case rather than a generic checklist.
