# Surfacing Opportunities

> Turn validated workflow friction into candidate interventions.

For each candidate capture:

**Problem → evidence → intervention → expected benefit → requirements/controls**

Consider elimination, simplification, standardisation, integration, deterministic automation, AI assistance, ownership/policy change or training before selecting the intervention.

Weak: **“AI agent for onboarding.”**

Stronger: **“Replace repeated transfer of approved onboarding information into two systems; use AI only for unstructured inputs that cannot be standardised.”**

An opportunity should remain traceable to the evidence that created it.
