# Inviting Stakeholders

> Give participants enough context to provide useful evidence.

Explain four things:

1. **Purpose** — the process or business question being studied.
2. **Why them** — the perspective they contribute.
3. **What to expect** — interview and, where relevant, screen observation.
4. **How evidence will be used** — as diagnostic evidence, not an individual performance score.

Example:

> We are reviewing how \[process] works in practice and where unnecessary friction exists. Your role gives an important perspective on that workflow. The session focuses on the work, including exceptions and workarounds, rather than individual performance.

State the expected time, deadline and contact for questions. Sponsor context before the invitation usually improves completion.
