Credibility = relevance + proof + method + reliability.

Use relevant experience

Translate previous work into evidence the buyer cares about. “I built production software” is useful only when you explain how that experience reduces implementation risk for this client.

Build proof

Useful proof includes:
  • paid or anonymised client work;
  • testimonials or references;
  • a clearly labelled illustrative diagnostic;
  • a relevant case study;
  • public analysis that demonstrates judgment.
Never present synthetic work as a client result.

Show the method

Explain the sequence: business problem → evidence → current workflow → validation → opportunities → business case → recommendation.

Minimum assets

Before serious outbound, have a clear positioning statement, a paid diagnostic offer, one relevant proof point, a professional profile and a concise proposal template.
