Handling Questions & Challenge

Answer executive questions with evidence, explicit assumptions and clear limits.

Use four response types:

Type	Example
Evidence	“The interviews and workflow both point to this handoff as the main source of delay.”
Assumption	“The base case assumes 60% adoption; we also modelled lower and higher cases.”
Limit	“Implementation effort needs technical design before we can confirm it.”
Unknown	“We do not have enough evidence yet; we need validation from the process owner.”

Expect questions about why the problem persists, whether AI is necessary, implementation risk, ROI confidence, ownership and what should happen first.

Answer the question first. If new evidence weakens a recommendation, change the recommendation.
